Chapter 1 continued 2.

Things had been rather odd in mount Kebinyar for a while now. Fley didn't wear a watch or count the days, so he couldn't tell for how long they had been strange, but they just had been. It was as though things had become louder and quieter all at the same time. He was seeing less people visiting, but hearing more noise from somwhere. Also, his ears seemed to be popping more. It was odd indeed. Jairal and Gaptan had passed through. Jairal's breathing was more raspy and rapid than before which made Fley realise that his was becoming more so too. It was as if the mountain was getting bigger or something. And so fast. Gaptan said he couldn't access the village anymore when he went down to the bottom. He thought it was an Eathquake or something. They didn't have TVs or radios up there, so noone knew the world's human news.

Then one day, as Fley was examining the onobrychis sphaciotica, he fell clean off the mountain. Very frightening indeed. He did not roll down it, he fell into and through the sky. He closed his eyes and just felt the motion in an upright position. Then he felt very cold and wet. The sea had received him in several circular ripples, and luckily he hadn't belly flopped. He hadn't been this far from home for quite some time.

  2. Change: " an earthquake". Omit "or something".
